Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 2, 2026

Orbital Office ("Orbital Office," "we," "us," or "our") provides a productivity dashboard and related tools for organizing bookmarks, notes, tasks, appointments, scheduling, spreadsheets, and other workflow features.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we store and protect it, and the choices available to you, including when you connect your Google account to use Google Calendar features.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information you provide directly

We collect information you provide when using Orbital Office, including account information and content you choose to save in the platform, such as bookmarks, boards, notes, to-do items, events, spreadsheet content, services, appointment settings, booking profile information, and other dashboard data you create or store.

B. Appointment and scheduling data

If you use appointment booking or service scheduling features, we may collect and store appointment-related information such as service name, client name, client email address, client phone number, appointment date, appointment time, notes, payment status, and related scheduling metadata.

C. Google user data

If you choose to connect Google Calendar to Orbital Office, we request access only to the Google data necessary to provide the calendar and scheduling features you enable.

Depending on the feature used, Orbital Office may access:

  • Google Calendar event data from your selected Google Calendar account
  • Calendar event metadata such as event title, date, time, description, event ID, and event link
  • Permission to read calendar events for display and synchronization
  • Permission to create, update, or delete calendar events when you use connected scheduling actions

Orbital Office does not request access to your Google data unless you explicitly authorize it through Google’s OAuth consent screen.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and maintain your account
  • Provide the Orbital Office dashboard and its features
  • Store and sync the content you choose to save
  • Enable appointment booking, appointment notifications, and scheduling workflows
  • Display, import, and sync Google Calendar events inside Orbital Office when you connect Google Calendar
  • Create, update, or remove Google Calendar events when you initiate those actions through Orbital Office’s connected scheduling features
  • Help prevent abuse, unauthorized access, or technical issues
  • Process subscription or payment-related actions through our payment providers, where applicable
  • Respond to support requests and maintain service functionality

Google user data is used only to provide user-facing calendar and scheduling functionality requested by the user. We do not use Google user data for advertising, marketing profiling, or sale to data brokers.

3. How We Access and Use Google User Data

When you connect Google Calendar, Orbital Office uses Google API Services to allow you to:

  • Read calendar events so they can be displayed or synchronized inside your Orbital Office dashboard
  • Create or update calendar events when you choose to sync or manage appointments with Google Calendar
  • Delete or detach connected calendar events when you direct Orbital Office to do so

Orbital Office’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell Google user data or personal information.

We may share limited information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: with vendors that help us operate the service, such as hosting, email delivery, or payment processing providers, solely as needed to provide the service
  • Legal compliance: if required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request
  • Protection of rights and security: to detect, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, security, or technical issues
  • Business transfers: if Orbital Office is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality safeguards

We do not share Google Calendar data with third parties except as necessary to operate the requested service, comply with law, or protect the security and integrity of Orbital Office.

5. Data Storage and Protection

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

  • Account and dashboard data is stored on secured servers and databases used to operate Orbital Office
  • Access to connected Google data is limited to the functionality needed to provide calendar and scheduling features
  • We use HTTPS and standard access controls to help protect data in transit and at rest where applicable
  • We limit access to stored data to authorized personnel and service providers with a legitimate operational need

No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we take commercially reasonable measures to protect the data entrusted to us.

6. Data Retention

We retain account data, dashboard content, appointment records, and synchronized calendar-related records for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account functionality, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

If you disconnect Google Calendar, delete connected content, or request deletion of your account, we will delete or de-identify the relevant stored data within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or needed for legitimate business recordkeeping, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

7. User Controls and Deletion Requests

You may request deletion of your account data or previously stored Google-connected data by contacting us at support@orbitaloffice.com.

You may also stop future Google data access at any time by disconnecting Orbital Office from your Google account through your Google account permissions settings.

When we receive a valid deletion request, we will process it within a commercially reasonable timeframe, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, and recordkeeping requirements.

8. Cookies, Sessions, and Local Storage

Orbital Office may use cookies, sessions, and browser local storage as necessary to keep you signed in, preserve settings, support dashboard behavior, and maintain connected service functionality. These technologies are used for service operation and user experience, not for selling personal data.

9. Third-Party Services

Orbital Office may integrate with third-party services such as Google API Services, email delivery providers, hosting providers, and payment processors. Your use of those connected services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Children’s Privacy

Orbital Office is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date above.
